Would anyone be able to make a couple of skins or meshes for me if possible? I can provide models of two of them if you need them if you can convert them, I am looking for:
Ash Ketchum from Pokemon Journeys
Naruto Uzumaki from Naruto Shippuden
Jaden Yuki from Yugioh GX.

If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it!

RommyNa

Good luck with that, they didn't help me much.

DoctorRuina

Wingzero and Psyco did a quite acceptable Naruto skope time ago. But the result would be better with an import.

Guys,

First, adventuretrav90, welcome to the forums.

Next,  "They didn't help me much"  Really? "They?" and who is "they" ? The three or 4 active modders left on the site, myself included? Sorry, but this comment just ticked me off.

Those who are still left here HAVE done some requests, but we're still here mainly working on our own projects and wish lists. If the characters you're requesting are ones that we're not interested in, the odds are low that they'll get done. In this, I might be wrong and just speaking for myself, so if someone steps up for you then I'm glad to hear it.

There was a member here a few years ago who flooded the requests threads with dozens of wants. And then he vanished.

Neros wanted just about everyone from the "Miraculous" show done, and I think even asked for a map or mod adventure for the show at one point.

So, adventuretrav90, there aren't that many people modding that are active here anymore. The odds are low, but it might happen, and I personally have no problem with your asking, and maybe looking at it at some point.

As I've said before, if there's characters you want done, then try to learn how to mod yourselves. Skinning takes some actual artistic talent in my opinion, but skoping and importing just takes some effort in learning how to do it. That's why I set up some lessons on how to import.

When I first joined here years ago, there were a lot of characters that I wanted as well, but I learned how to make them myself when no one wanted to create them for me. It saved a lot of frustration and felt good when they were done and I could see them active in game.

I would much rather have someone learn how to import and skope and add to the few people who can, then take the time to do it for them and then they just vanish.

I am totally agree with you, RD. Honestly, that comment ticked me off too.

RommyNa

I didn't say it wrong. No one has an obligation to help anyone with anything. It's about not having interest in what they ask for, I asked for dinosaurs and Doc McStuffins and there was no interest in them so they didn't make a single character and that's fine. Maybe it came off as aggressive or like a complaint but I didn't ask anyone for anything specific and no one is my employee to work on anything for me. I write in Spanish and I do automatic translation to participate and react to everything that is shared positively. I don't try to offend anyone and I apologize for that if anyone got angry. I'm coming down and thanking Dean RandomDays and Cranlox always and trying to joke if I don't know something I just try to send luck with the order because I didn't like the ones I liked.

Thanks for the nice welcome, funny you should say that.. I actually got some gumption and tried tonight and made a very basic Ash Ketchum Skin, needs some work, but kind of happy with how it came out. Like I said it's really basic...

But I totally understand where you are coming from, I actually really enjoyed making it too, haha. Going to try and make some more.

Rommyna - on the dinosaurs, people did do some work on that for you. I don't know the show, but looking at some pictures on the net, I think it wouldn't be easy to skope them together.

On Doc McStuffins, there are no existing models I saw that could be used for importing, so it would have to be skoped together and skinned.

On Hello Kitty there are 3d models for import.

Sometimes its not even that what you want is something that no one wants to do, but it might be vary hard to do as well.

It did come off as aggressive and a complaint. I will take it an apology and a problem with translation, and move on from there.

adventuretrav90 - good first effort. thank you for even trying to do a skin. I know  you're new to the forums, but not sure how aware you are of the mod community here.

We do have teen sized characters, and there's a basic model that someone put a ballcap on that could be used. We have a program for the game called "nifskope" and it can be used to move part of a character from one model to another. This is called "skoping". So we could take a teen character and add the ballcap to it to get you closer to Ash.

There are basic "blank" skins that were made by skinners here as a starting point to work off of. A lot of skins here were made using these as a start.

For importing, I made a lesson a long time ago on how to import a character into FF/ FFvt3R. It's here;

  https://www.freedomreborn.net/forums/index.php?topic=55261.0

For both of you, I would be willing to help you get set up on importing and a little bit on skoping. Cranlox had technical issues setting up the Blender program, so he can't import easily, but at least he tried.

So if you want these characters, put in some effort on how to do so yourself.

Cranlox and Dr. Ruina might be better with skoping though since they due more than me, and for Rommyna at least, there would be less of a language problem since less translation would have to be done.

For adventuretrav90, I saw some 3d models for all 3 of your requests that could be imported. If you can get set up for importing, we could go through one and see if you can get a handle on it.

Same for RommyNa, though I only saw Hello Kitty to work with.

DoctorRuina

RommyNa, I understand that we have problems with the language. I also have difficulty expressing some things in English, and with the translator there are often mistakes.

adventuretrav90, I'm glad you started doing skins  .Here are some base skins that the authors gave permission to use. I always use the courtnall6 skins as base.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/zmhku5phu68fudo/base_skins.rar/file

Here are skopes/skins of Naruto and Rock Lee. Although they use an adult-sized model. The result would be better with an import.

Regarding your request, I am also interested in Naruto characters, although it is not my favorite manga and I would prefer models from One Piece, Dragon Ball, Hokuto no Ken, Ranma, Saint Seiya... Unfortunately I still haven't learned how to do imports.

Randomdays

Doc, I could try to help you with that as well, if you wanted and when you find the time. Once you get going, something that was difficult to do as a skin or skope can be brought into the game a lot more easily - as long as there is a noce import to work from.

DoctorRuina

As for the base skins, it occurs to me that we could expand this and make a base skins library that beginners can use. (Although some skinners allows kittbashing).

Learning how to do imports is a task I have pending time ago, but I never find the time to do it. I printed your tutorial to read a long time ago and haven't had time yet. :banghead:

So, Tomato, Gryphon, Strangefate, Murs from here.

I just posted tons of base skins in my requests folder in 2 rars - those above and lots of others

Thank you so much for being so nice and helpful, and for liking my first attempt. I appreciate it so much. I have been a lurker for a few years on here. Just started to play again and been downloading characters like crazy, checking out everyone's stuff! Thank you so much for the base meshes, I am going to download them right away. I will try to import too, I will let you know if I have some trouble after following the tools of the trade. It might not be today, but I will let you know. :) I appreciate all the help and advice you have given me so far.

DoctorRuina, thanks for sharing those too!

RommyNa

Someone told me that they had the models that I asked for and a Demetrius dinosauers had uploaded it. Importing is taking the character from another game?? As for what the new member is talking about, Ash is the only one worth the effort and I would like the pokemon more than the people. Is Dr. Ruina from Spain? Couldn't someone put a head more faithful to the Ash that they made? I used Ruff yesterday and he's huge, I wanted to shrink him

DoctorRuina

DoctorRuina

Oh, there's a Rick Sanchez and an Astroboy in this page! :o

RommyNa

In the item of possible Rd projects on page 29 it is published that they were working on the hippopotamus from Doc McStuffins. I thought they were about to release those characters, I saw that.

adventuretrav90 - Those were base skins for various meshes uploaded, not the meshes themselves. Skins are set up that they will work on different meshes. There are a few variations on skins on where body parts are drawn, like the location of the face and head, so some skins will not look right on certain meshes.

A large selection of base meshes were done by Beyonder - changing things like adding different collars, boots and gloves.

they're on alex's site - https://www.alexff.com/skinmesh_gallery.php?creator=Beyonder&category=%&logo=BYD

There are also meshes that multiple parts on them where you can delete what you don't want. These are used in a lot of different characters as a base. Some of the main ones are Taskmaster and Taskmistress, pulp versatile, and Tommyboy's male and female versatile.

RommyNa - Yes importing is bringing in characters from other games.

The hippo post was by Cranlox. He never uploaded it so you'll have to ask him for it. It would have to be imported to work.

To shrink Ruff, or any character - open it in nifskope, select handle on the left with a right click of the mouse, and then "transform" and "edit" On "Scale" on the bottom, change the number to what you want. ".5" would be 50% size

adventuretrav90

Okay, thank you so much again for explaining to me! I really appreciate this help! I am going to check out the different meshes, and skins. I am going to try and make some different characters over the coming days.

RommyNa

I'm going to try to shrink it

RommyNa

In this game there are characters in teen or adult mode like Jony Bravo Dexter and his sister and the Saturday family and the powerful girls

Randomdays

A lot of these are on my list to do already. I just haven't gotten to them yet.

cranlox

I would have my list of favorites for pokemon but these would be pokemons: Pikachu, Squartle, Psyduck, Machop, Meowth.
I don't consider them as important in my priorities and I know that all the characters are modeled in games and waiting for imports. I really can't wait to learn how to do imports and have a more or less decent PC so that I can run even a poor blender.

Regarding the requests, I tried to spread the word with Dinosausers a bit, but I think they are difficult and there are no models. A generic one could serve as a base for doing long-term work. It would be great if, being the most interested in this, you could collaborate in some way.
Kitty, can I grab one and put it in her typical car? It's not much, but could it satisfy you? I don't see her with any very playable application for that character.
I had the 5 protagonists of Doc McStuffins, the most playable would be the sheep because she could do a hug with heart FX that would heal her companions. For the rest, I don't see them very playable, nor can I think of much that they would contribute to the game. Doc could throw the healing syringes. Something like this as support characters would work.
The pokemon trainers do seem much more likely to do conventional human actions, although except for the old ones from Team Rocket, I don't see them as very "fighting".
I think everything in its own time can be put together, especially if it is done by working as a team and with good manners.

DoctorRuina

That's the question. I like Pokemon and I've played the videogames, but I don't see them very playable in freedom force. Maybe as a character with summon skills... Although the Team Rocket would be funny (with their great soundtrack) :D

adventuretrav90

Would anyone happen to have some of these  meshes or skins? I happened to see people talking about some of these or have seen some pictures of them.

Sailor Scouts/ Sailor Senshi from Sailor Moon
Freakazoid

Also I was wondering if anyone has made these...
Bane from Dark Knight Rises
Static Shock from the cartoon.

If anyone could help me with these I would be grateful!

cranlox

Bane and Static in Alex site
Freakazoid by daglob i same site.
But I work in change the head

adventuretrav90

Thanks, I am trying to look for them now!

cranlox

Baen not is the movie version is comic and animated serie version

adventuretrav90

Ah okay, and I cannot find static on their for some reason.
