Hello I am new here. :thumbup:

I've been a fan of this game for a long time now. And also the insane amount of mods it contains is unmatched.

Recently, I've been replaying FFVT3R. And I want to know if the mouse cursor speed can be adjusted to match modern RTS games.

It kind of feels like I am dragging something heavy compared to other games' mouse speed.

FF/FFVT3R is still the number one super hero game for me. :cool:

You are very wise in your choices of games.

I'm not sure. I'm running Win10 and have no problems with mouse speed. I'm also running off my original cd's, since I bought the game way back when it first came out on disk, then patched it and added the no-cd mod. There might be other issues if you have the GoG or Steam versions.

Searching the forums, all I found were these two similar questions that might help;

This has some mouse settings in it. You can edit it with notepad as a txt file.

This might be your best bet on changing your speed.

My PC is old and I use an outdated Windows (Windows XP Media Center Edition) from the FFVsR3 era. On that PC the mouse works perfectly.
On the laptop of a relative of mine who has lent me that computer, I ran the game and the mouse was slightly slower. On that PC, it runs Windows 11 and when the game is closed and opened, there are brief moments of a black screen that makes a green flash.
I never knew how to solve any of that, but I do believe that it must be due to the adaptability and generational difference of a game over the years.
RD gave you the best alternative close to something to fix it or try at least something. Try if you can get the original game on cd
I can't think of anything else. Welcome to the forum!
