Something you don't know about me...

It's been a while, but we used to do things like this every now and again. We would share something about ourselves that we maybe hadn't shared on the board before (or even the dreaded "Are You Brave Enough" thread).

I was putting a spoiler filled post together over in the Gotham thread and as I painstakingly worked to perfect my spoilers, color, and bold text; I asked myself, "Why did you ever start making your posts so complicated?" (Cause, yeah, I do talk to myself like that often).

So, here it is. Something you don't know about me...

Back in the early days of FR, I was new to message boards. I was really into Freedom Force, and the idea of a place online where I could talk with people who enjoyed the same things I did online blew my mind. I was reading through threads all hours of the night, and most of our threads were more like chats. There were times I would have to hit refresh just to read the latest posts. Most threads that I follow I also comment in and I decided that I would post in color so that I could quickly scroll through the posts to find what I last read/said, but... MJB had already chosen my favorite color! So I chose to post in bold and blue rather than picking a different color.

So there you have it. If you've ever wondered, now you know.

Originally, Batman was my favorite character, but I've always had a soft-spot for underdogs.  Thus, Aquaman, who I'd always liked, began to grow on me when I got back into comics in college.

I suffer from extreme depression that has been flaring up a bit more than I really would like it to.  Part of that is thanks to some stuff elsewhere online. Oh wait...this is supposed to be a funny post?!?!?!?!  Guess I'm just not into that right now....

In all seriousness though, I have my own issues with depression kicking me in the nuts. If you need to talk, or even just someone to snark at, I've got your back.

As for things that people here don't know about me, I honestly have no clue, I've always tried to be pretty up front about things because I want people to know who they're dealing with.

I'm sure there's something that I'm not thinking of though, and as soon as I figure it out, I'll edit this post.

To escape from the misery of everyday life, I go to my mancave and visit this site while I read my comics.  If I didn't do that, I would be a very stressful angry person
