I'm back, it has been ages since I posted something. I actually was not aware that FR was back online. I only found out a few days ago.

I have not touched my photoshop for more than a year now. I guess I was not inspired, but the "artistic" bug drag its way back into my mind when I found out about FR's return.

I had made 2 new micro. both Redesigns

For some reason I just read Reep's post as, "I am so happy to see the sea again." I should get my eyes checked.

Those are some pretty bloomin' polished micros there, mister J. Very nice. Since costume designs/redesigns are often quite subjective, I'll just say I'm particularly fond of the V-shape torso part on Captain Euro's costume, and the layered armour plating on VV. Of the two I would probably say Euro is my favourite, only because I feel it's a simpler design (less accessories/glows) and comes across sleek and exciting.

Yay! Juancho returns with some sweet looking micros. I've always been a fan of Alaric's av & your version doesn't change that fact.

Captain Euro's redesign looks like the grim & gritty 90's version that would have been used in the GPL comics. Great job!

Making new micros took more than I expected. I 've been pretty bussy at work lately.

Oh wow! FF looks so cool.

The exposed hair is pretty much awesome, and the little armored bits stand out nicely. Thanks Juan!

I'm glad you liked the redesign, I also had a version in blue/lightblue that i tired out, but decided to go with the original colors, if you want I can post it as well so you can decide

I wouldn't mind seeing it, though I think the black/turquoise is pretty iconic at this point. But yeah, feel free to post it

Figure Fan came out great. The colours, to me, are spot on, and I especially like how you incorporated the FF symbol into the design as a form of body armour. And while I like FF's classic costume (because it's a classic), it's a nice change to see it reworked into something ultramodern (and he almost looks rugged!... Almost).

Oh, and Queen Ambera is scantilly clad and devious - very high fantasy and slightly sadistic-looking (in a good way!). Perhaps the only thing that threw me off with this one was the blue fire (wings?) - it's probably just me not knowing the character, but at first I couldn't quite tell if they were wings or if they were just bursts of flame or fiery summoned minions. It's probably just my eyes, because I can't quite think of a way to make them more obviously wings without losing too much of the fieriness.

Thanks, that was kind of the idea, to incorporate the FF without making it look out of place, to make the design just part of the costume and as practicual as it ocould be.

Queen Ambera is indeed and Evil Sadistic fiery dominatrix.
The fire in the back is indeed intended to look like wings. I took the idea of that kind of shaped wings from an alternative universe phoneix. I don't remeber what comics I saw them in, but I kinda liked the effect and tried it out. I guess it kind of looks weird, it looked better with a dark background hehehe

These are awesome! I just looked through some of the old ones (first time I've seen them) and the Captain America redesign is pretty sweet. Enjoying the redesigns Juancho, and looking forward to seeing more.

I'm quite fond of the design, so I'm not surprised you're proud of it. There's a good balance between simple, sleek areas and busy, detailed areas to keep your eye moving without bombarding it, and the chunkiness around the neck certainly enhances the (I want to say 'butchness', but I don't think I can bring myself to say it with Meej in mind) 'sturdiness' of the armour/character. I must admit, I'm not a massive fan of the armoured shoulders, as for some reason I find they come off a tad awkward/ungainly. Maybe it's just the roundness that's throwing me. But that's definitely just a personal preference, as they do work well with the concept - turning MJB into somebody not to be messed with.
